FAQs

When is it the best time to travel?

July–September is peak season in the Masai Mara, when the Great Migration’s dramatic Mara River crossings are in full flow, and big cat activity is at its finest. This is Kenya’s most iconic wildlife window and the highlight of the safari calendar.

The migration should be in the Masai Mara from July to October

Mid January and February are great months to consider, just outside of peak season

Visa requirements depend on your nationality and destination. In some cases, you may need to apply for an Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA) before travelling.

If you’re unsure, we’re happy to check the requirements for you and guide you through the process, including tips to make your application as smooth as possible.

We recommend a Yellow Fever vaccine & anti-malaria medications but you should consult with your Dr or Travel Clinic for further advice

Yes, generally you should, but there is never a guarantee and rhino’s are scarce. If you add the Laikipia region to your itinerary, which is in the northern part of Kenya, chances are very good that you see rhino too.
